It all start with you lifestyle and understanding what makes up your lifestyle.
The first step to a lifestyle change is mastering your mind. Where the mind goes the body will follow. I am living proof that mastering your mind can lead to a fulfilling life. I don’t believe in living my life in terms of what diet I am going to do or what Fitness Fad I am going to follow for the next couple of months. Everything starts with a positive mindset, I can give you the best of the best workout and nutrition plan but if your mind is still in a negative state, this will be a short lived victory and you will find yourself in the same place or worst.
What is lifestyle?
The basic definition of lifestyle is the way an individual lives their daily life.
But this does not begin to scratch the surface of lifestyle. To change one’s lifestyle one must really understand what lifestyle means in terms of the big picture.
The definition of lifestyle covers just about everything a person is and does on a regular basis. From personal wealth to bad habits, they all go into the big picture. When changing lifestyle is the desire, looking at everything that makes up your lifestyle must be considered.
This is a big deal so don’t think it will be easy at first but it will become easy if you keep practicing your new lifestyle.
Here are Four aspects of yourself to look at when attempting to change your life…
1: Emotional/mental well Being: Lifestyle is also a state of mind. When personal peace and satisfaction are a part of everyday living, wealth won't necessarily matter in the creation of a healthy, happy lifestyle.
2: Career: employment opportunities a person pursues also help define lifestyle. If you are not happy at your job then part of your lifestyle is suffering. Think about it about 70-80% of your day is spent at work, that’s a lot of time to be unsatisfied.
3: Relationships (friends, family, partner etc..) This is an area that’s often hard to change. With patterns formed with your loved ones, it’s important to recognize a healthy relationship pattern, if a certain relationship does not make you happy then something must change.
4: Your personal Habits: Everything a person does on a habitual weather it’s going to the gym to smoking to drinking. Remember it takes about 1 month to change your habits and in my option another 2 months to practice that new habit.
How to change your lifestyle?
Leading a positive, productive and healthy lifestyle takes a conscious effort and Action. You can sit on your butt and wish for change. You can take a paper & pen and plan your changes down to a T but if there is no Action behind your words NOTHING WILL Happen Nothing will change.
To enjoy a better lifestyle or at least one that's more personally satisfying, you can take a number of positive actions which include
Practice makes your vision and dreams and goals come true. Without the effort of practice you will not achieve anything. you will just be day dreaming. so after writing down your changes you wish to have become real in your life, i encourage you to first sit with these changes, image it being true then get up and go do it. this is law of attraction 101 which will be discussed in another blog post... till then bless up and thank you for taking the time to read this.
